We take pride in crafting excellent products and we are sorry that you are having troubles with your Bear Creek product. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all of our products and if we cannot repair it, we will replace it, free of charge. The consumer is responsible for all return shipping; Bear Creek will issue merchandise credits for the amount equivalent to shipping for approved warranty claims. Warranty for finishes including stains, paints, polyurethanes, and top coats are limited to 1 year from purchase date. Things not covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty: Neglect by buyer. Normal expansion and contraction of building materials. Normal maintenance issues. Scratches, dents and defects by buyer. Normal wear and tear. Acts of God. Water or weather related damages. Damage by fire. Damage by natural disaster or war. Damage not in direct relationship to a workmanship related issue. All warranty claim form must be submitted before any warranty exchanges or repairs are completed.
